CHRIST: God brought us together for such a time as this - to partner and co-create with Him to see a young generation of leaders with selfless, radical faith rise up and reach the nations for Christ. We are driven by our passion to know Christ and to make Christ known!

COMMUNITY: We have a particular heart to bring evangelism, discipleship, and skills training to villages and cities within the nations of Africa. Holistic development involves reaching people with Jesus as well as providing tools to know God for oneself as well as create self-sufficiency. You can give a person a fish which lasts a day, or you can teach them to fish which lasts a lifetime.

CHANGE: With the combination of spiritual discipleship and practical solutions, the nations will ignite and continue to offer even greater things to the world!

There is a saying that goes, "When African soil has touched your feet, it will never leave your soul." Such a true statement! We have both travelled extensively, but nothing makes us come alive like this Africa!

"I am a Christian counselor who works with at risk kids and families. I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and three wonderful children. I love to be outside doing just about anything. I will get involved with anything to do with sports because they have been a life long passion for me. I have volunteered at several local schools doing teacher/student workshops. One of my passions is mission work and I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Haiti, and Mexico to give to those in need."

Rising Stars believes in relationship-based, personal support raising as primary funds. These funds come from friends, family, churches, and other organizations.

The battle is won or lost in the place of PRAYER! There is more work accomplished on our knees than in any human effort we put forth. Become a prayer partner and know that those on the field remain strong, receive guidance, and feel encouraged as you cry out to God on our behalf.

In Africa, there is always room for one more...PARTICIPATE on the field with us. Whether you want to bring a short-term team or come on staff, we can facilitate and you will never be the same.
