Greetings from Ghana! After an incredibly busy 10 days in South Africa, we finally arrived to our new home. We disembarked from the plane on Friday, the 5^th of May at 3:25 am, entered Accra, and instantly went “WOW! It’s hot!” Note to self – travel back to Africa after feeling some of the summer heat, NOT during the end of winter which leaves room for incredible shock. We are currently staying in a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment provided by our elder brother Matthew until we find a place of our own that will serve as home/office. Kim was expecting small but adequate, and came to a pleasant surprise of a large sitting room, a large bedroom, and a hallway with 3 doors – one leading to the storage, one the bath, and one the toilet. The kitchen is very simple, but Kim has already had her first lesson in Ghanian cooking...delicious!

The potential for Ghana is great and we are excited to really start digging in. This next week we are visiting a couple areas to see if we can find the location to truly start Rising Stars. Keep praying with us as the small steps begin and lead into great things.
